Mad Hatters Tea Party

Presented by Melissa Jackson

Join milliner Melissa Jackson for a wildly decadent series of Mad Hatters Tea Parties .  A favourite among race-goers and fashionistas, Melissa Jackson is best known for her colourful, sculptural and highly original hat designs. During the Melbourne International Design Festival, she will share her mad hatter skills in a series of millinery workshops.

Mad hatters are invited to indulge in tea-time treats while discovering the art of millinery during two-hour workshops. 

Children can also create their own millinery madness at weekend workshops offered for youngsters aged seven and up.  Along with cake and cordial, children can make their very own mad hatter masterpiece.

Melissa’s special four-hour tea party promises to be a wildly decadent affair with a presentation on the creative application of millinery and the chance to create a unique mad hatter headpiece.
